
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on Wednesday, Seprember 27, appointing Olha Stefanishyna as Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United States.
According to the President, “formal procedures have been completed.”
“I have just spoken with Olha Stefanishyna – now Ukraine’s new Ambassador to the United States of America. The formal procedures have been completed – today I signed the decree on her appointment.”, – said Zelenskyy in his address on social media Telegram.
Prior to this appointment, Olha Stefanishyna held the post of Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Justice of Ukraine.
Before joining the government, Stefanishyna worked at Ilyashev & Partners, the leading Ukrainian Law Firm.
Olha Stefanishyna was born in 1985 in Odesa. She graduated from the Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Master of International Law) and the Odesa National Economic University with a degree in finance and credit.
