
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree appointing Olha Stefanishyna as the special representative of the President of Ukraine for the development of cooperation with the United States of America.
“In this status, Olha will work to maintain momentum in relations with America while all the necessary procedures for approving her candidacy for the position of Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States with Washington are ongoing,” President said in a post on social media X.
Prior to this appointment, Olha Stefanishyna held the post of Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Justice of Ukraine. Before joining the government, Stefanishyna worked at Ilyashev & Partners, the leading Ukrainian Law Firm.
Olha Stefanishyna was born in 1985 in Odesa. She graduated from the Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Master of International Law) and the Odesa National Economic University with a degree in finance and credit.
